Currently, when we delete checks, they’re hard deleted. This is problematic in a few ways:
If a check managed via the UI gets deleted, there’s no way to restore it. This is an issue in cases of accidental deletion or account vandalism.
This messes up certain analytics.
Instead, of hard deleting, it would be helpful to soft delete checks instead.
